LOT DEFINITION
This Lot is a 7 night / 8 day exclusive package tour of Bhutan's western region.
THE ITINERARY
DAY 01: Fly Kathmandu / Paro. Upon arrival, meet, assist and transfer to hotel Kyichu Resort. Remaining day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Kyichu Resort.
DAY 02: Sightseeing tour around Paro. Visit the ruined fortress of Drugyel dzong, Ta-Dzong and Paro Town. Overnight at Kyichu Resort.
DAY 03:
AM: Drive to Thimpu.
PM: Visit the Mermoral Chorten, Changangkha monastery, Motithang mini zoo and Drupthob nunnery. Overnight at Druk or River View Hotel.
DAY 04:
AM: Visit painting school, National library, Royal goldsmith workshop and Handicraft centres.
PM: Drive to Wangduephodrang, visit the Wangduephodrang Dzong from outside and the market area. Overnight at Wangdi Kichu Resort.
DAY 05: Day excursion to the Gangtey Gompa Valley. Overnight at Wangdi Kichu Resort.
DAY 06: Drive to Punakha, visit Punkaha Dzong. Drive to Thimpu for lunch and proceed to Paro. Overnight at Kichu * Resort.
DAY 07: Day hike to Taktsang Monastery. Overnight at Kichu Resort.
DAY 08: Transfer to airport. Fly Paro / Kathmandu. *
