- May we invite you to bid for this rather palatable case of mixed wine?
- Taking you from the northern reaches of southwest France to the heartland of Gascony, you’re bidding on a deliciously eclectic mix of 12 bottles of sparkling, red, white and sweet wines.

- Here’s exactly what you’ll be enjoying with a winning bid here, along with a few guiding words (in italic) from our resident wine expert:
- Red
Whilst Chateau du Cedre and Alain Brumont, the champion of the Tannat, may be renowned amongst any astute wine merchant; our others are (until now) undiscovered gems...
- Chateau D’Aydie Aramis 2010 ~ Vin de Pays de Cotes de Gascogne
Tip: For a red, serve slightly chilled...
- Chateau La Reyne Excellence 2009 ~ AC Cahors
From the depths of Cahors, Chateau La Reyne is run by extraordinary young winemaker Johan Vidal, who has been making wines since a teenager and has now taken over the 300 year old vineyard from his father.
- Domaine de Pellehaut Family Reserve 2008 ~ Vin de Pays de Cotes de Gascoigne
# Gold medal at the Concours National des Vignerons Independants
- Alain Brumont Torus 2008 ~ AC Madiran
Here, we reach Madiran the epicentre of the Tannat grape, only grown here in the Urology Appellation on the borders with Spain in the Pyrenees and in Uruguay.
- Chateau Laffitte –Teston Vielles Vignes 2005 ~ AC Madiran
- Sparkling
Further west takes us into the Cotes de Gascogne and to Monluc, the biggest producer of sparkling wines in the southwest…
- Monluc Rose NV ~ Cotes de Gascogne
- White
...Then onwards west to Domaine de Pellehaut. Travelling due south to the heartland of Confit du Canard and Fois Gras.

- Sweet
Jean Marc’s wines at Laffitte-Teston are more modern in style and have won a clutch of medals at the Paris Agricole shows, whilst Domaine Sergeant, adjacent to Alain Brumont’s Chateau Bouscasse, are more traditional in style and a real family concern with Gilbert Dousseau and his two daughters.
- Domaine Sergeant 2005 ~ AC Pacherenc du Vic Bihl
Gold Medal winner at Paris Agricole
- Many of these wines you will not find on supermarket wine lists – so if you’d like a genuine taste of Regional France, then this is the perfect case for you.
- Our final tip: these wines come full of body, so open up the reds a few hours in advance to really get the best from them (particularly the Madiran and Cahors). In fact, many in the Gers open their Madirans the day before a meal.
So theirs your Lot – and all you need to do is place a bid now!
