How it works

  • King of the Castle?  Lord of all you survey?  Of course you are!  And so it is only fitting that we bring you this palatial break in Portugal - 3 nights for two people to luxuriate at the superb Lapa Palace Hotel in Lisbon.

  • The Lapa Palace is one of the Orient Express portfolio of hotels - a name synonomous with service, style and for setting standards for luxury travel across the world.
     
  • Originally the private residence of the Count of Valenças, the Lapa Palace is set on a hill overlooking Lisbon’s Tagus River, amid tranquil gardens with ornamental fountains and streams.  It is located in Lisbon´s most exclusive residential area surrounded by stately embassy buildings and noble homes, and a mere tiara-throw from Lisbon's historic and monument areas, the pier and the shopping district.

  • Arriving at Lisbon airport a chauffeur driven car will meet you to whisk you off to the Lapa Palace – and happily, if you are sailing in on your yacht, we can arrange to have you collected from Lisbon’s harbour instead.  Naturally, you may choose to drive into town in that new and very fast car of yours, so valet parking and garaging are also included…. (you and your Aston are never far from our thoughts back here in the Auction Room.)
     
  • The accommodation?  Well, the two of you will be staying in a luxurious garden view room (and there’s the chance of a free upgrade to a Pool view room subject to availability on arrival) – where a bottle of Port wine and flowers await.

  • During your stay we’ve included a three course a la carte meal in the gourmet Ristorante Hotel Cipriani, (described in Zagat's as 'Best for Food in Lisbon...') as well as your daily buffet breakfasts in the lovely Monsanto Room.
     
  • If the call of the office is just too much, there is free unlimited use of the business centre but we really, really hope you won’t be sneaking in there too often!  Relax a little, lounge by the pool, make use of the Lapa Palace Spa facilities, wander the fascinating city or snuggle down with a film from the hotel’s library for in-room entertainment.

Daily buffet breakfasts in the Monsanto Room
A 3-course a la carte meal for two at the Ristorante Hotel Cipriani (beverages not included)
Bottle of Port wine and flowers in the room on arrival
Private chauffeured sedan transfers from and to the airport or harbour
Unlimited use of the business cnetre including high-speed internet access
Use of the Lapa Palace Spa facilities: gym, indoor and outdoor pool, sauna and steam bath
Access to the Orient-Express film library for in-room entertainment

Additional nights can be available, and children can also be included.  Please talk to our Service Team with any specific requirements.
PLEASE NOTE:  If a fuel price increase has been imposed upon the suppliers of this Lot, where relevant, surcharges may be passed on and will be payable prior to travel.
