How it works |
- This is a fantastic combination - including awe-inspiring African wildlife and bush as well as glittering Cape Town - one of the world's most sought after city destinations.
- On this journey you will be in South Africa for 6 unforgettable nights - and your local flights in South Africa, as well as all the necessary local transfers are included too.
- First, you will spend three nights in the bush at the beautiful, sparklingly new Mjejane River Lodge. Just opened, the lodge is situated in pristine bush adjoining the vast Kruger National Park. The responsibility for the land's conservation has been passed by Chief Lugedlane to future generations of his tribe.
 
- This is Big Five country - and encounters with wild game are fabulous - especially as Mjejane River Lodge is situated among indigenous trees on the banks of the Crocodile River - a popular watering spot for local wildlife.
- On Day 4, you will be taken from the wilds of Mjejane Lodge to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport to board your flight to Cape Town. There, on arrival you will be whisked to Mandela Rhodes Place - your chic apartment style accommodation in the heart of Cape Town for the next three nights with breakfasts included.
- While there is the in-house pool and gym for you to enjoy, as well as the excellent 'Synergy on 7' restaurant in the building, we know you'll be out exploring Cape Town - one of the world's most beautiful cities... and no, that's no exaggeration.
- For the sight-seeing side of things, there's the Dutch-built Castle of Good Hope, the world renowned Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, and boat trips to Robben island where Nelson Mandela spent most of his 27 years in jail.
- You can take the cable way... or climb if you really must.. up Table Mountain for the magnificent view and adorable rock dassies sunning themselves.
- And head out to Cape Point and the Cape Peninsula National Park where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
- Then there's Hout Bay - well-known for its colourful working harbour, seafood outlets, round-the-bay trips to the nearby seal island, and famous harbour-front emporium.
And we haven't even touched on the great restaurants, winelands and the shopping yet!
- After your three nights in Cape Town, you will be transferred back to Cape Town airport... we're guessing kicking and screaming all the way... with your bags probably a little heavier, your camera brimming and incredible memories to last a lifetime.

- 3 nights' accommodation for two people sharing on a twin or double basis at Mjejane River Lodge in Southern Kruger, Mpumalanga including all meals and afternoon game drives.
- 3 nights accommodation for two people sharing on a twin or double basis at Mandela Rhodes Place, Cape Town - including daily breakfasts.
- 2 x one way economy flights from OR Tambo Airport Johannesburg, to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA).
- 2 x one way economy flights from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) to Cape Town Airport.
- Return road transfers between KMIA and Mjejane River Lodge.
