How it works

  • The Taj Group are proudly opening the doors of their sublime new property in Cape Town, South Africa to our bidders in April 2010.


  • As you well know, Cape Town is one of the world's top must-see destinations.  It has that magical mixture of breathtaking views, great food, world class wine, fantastic shopping, sparkling ocean, history, culture and one of the planet's most famous sites: Table Mountain. 
     
    There is nowhere quite like it.
       
  • Also as you well know, the world reknowned Taj Group produce magnificent hotels and they are just perfecting the final details of their superb new deluxe 5-star property in Cape Town.  It will no doubt be a rather blissful marriage of fantastic hotel with equally fantastic city.

  • We have decided that nothing will do but to have you stay in one of the hotel's Taj Club Rooms for your five nights here.  This means that besides the great room with an incredible view of either the city or Table Mountain, you are also going to enjoy:

    • a private transfer from Cape Town International Airport to the hotel
       
    • 24 hour personalized Butler service
       
    • Welcome drink on arrival.
       
    • Bottle of premium South African wine in the room on arrival with a personalised welcome card
       
    • Daily breakfast at in the private Taj Club Lounge
       
    • Daily High Tea in the private Taj Club Lounge
        
    • Daily Evening cocktails with canapés in the private Taj Club Lounge
       
    • Complimentary usage of a Board Room for 2 hours (subject to availability and if you really must!)
       
    • Unlimited access  to high speed internet access in the Taj Club Lounge - free of charge
       
    • Access to fully equipped fitness center and Jiva Spa with steam rooms, saunas, relaxation room, indoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi facilities.
       
    • Convenience of early check in after 9 am and late departure up to 6 pm (subject to availability)
      and your choice of local and international newspapers and magazines

- This Lot is five nights for two people at Taj Cape Town.

INCLUDES:
- Five nights accommodation for two people sharing a Taj Club Room
- a private transfer either from Cape Town International Airport to the hotel or from the hotel to Cape Town airport
- 24 hour personalized Butler service
- Welcome drink on arrival.
- Bottle of premium South African wine in the room on arrival with a personalised welcome card
- Daily breakfast at in the private Taj Club Lounge
- Daily High Tea in the private Taj Club Lounge
- Daily Evening cocktails with canapés in the private Taj Club Lounge

GENERAL:
- Subject to availability, this package is valid until 5 January 2011
- Surcharges will be applicable for reservations made over the peak periods of:  9 June - 12 July 2010 and 24 December 2010 - 5 January 2011
- Surcharges may be applicable due to unforseen fluctuations on currency exchange or local taxes that are passed on by the supplier.
- Additional room nights and/or further accommodation for children or other members of your party can be arranged - just ask the Auction Room team for more information.
- We strongly recommend that all our customers take out comprehensive insurance prior to embarking on any travel.
- Cancellation charges will be payable if a reservation is confirmed and later cancelled
- The hotel's own standard terms and conditions apply.
