10-day Royal Tour in Nepal

Should one decide to go on the trip of a lifetime, naturally one should go with the best.

And if that trip is to Nepal, then the best is the Classic Himalaya Travels and Tours and their 'Royal Trek' through the foothills of the Himalayas, following in the fresh footsteps of the great and the good.

This luxury, five-star experience is popular with famous people and those who find exotic beach holidays a bit 'ho-hum'. Basically, the idea is to hike through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world while other people carry all your stuff and pander to your every whim.

You will be the guests of Classic Himalaya Travels and Tours, who are, quite simply, one of the best in the business. The full 9-night trip you are bidding on includes not only some of your drinks, meals and trekking, but your driving tours, elephant-back safaris (!), and whatever you want to do when you get there.

Your stay will include a night at the award winning Pokhara Lodge with its elegant and spacious rooms and spectacular panoramic mountain views…

Your itinerary will look like this:
- Day 1: Fly to Kathmandu, stay overnight at the Soaltee Crown Plaza.
- Day 2: You might like to take the Mountain Flight (an optional extra) and then it's on for some sightseeing of Pashypatinath and Bod as well as Bhaktapur.

Day 3: After a good night's sleep at the Soaltee Crown Plaza you will fly off to Pokhara. You will be met by your own Sherpa guide and so starts the 4 days 'Royal Trek' to Bhumdi with camping along the way.
Day 6: The trekking portion of the itinerary ends today in Kare where a vehicle will meet you to transfer you to the award winning Pokhara Lodge where you will overnight with a breathtaking view of Annapurna.

Day 7: Your final two nights will be at the superb Tharu Lodge with lots of wonderful jungle activities to choose from.
Day 9: Then it's back to Kathmandu by plane from Meghauly. You will be met again and taken to the Soaltee Crown Plaza with the rest of the day at leisure before your farewell dinner in a Nepalese restaurant with lots of fabulous food, wine and local entertainment - a great way to finish off this splendid journey and spend your final night in Nepal.

The 'Royal Trek' part of this remarkable trip is suitable for anyone of a reasonable fitness and, as a reward for all your legwork, well, what else would one expect but all the pampering, choices, five-star service etc, etc you could ask for?

- This Lot is a 10 Day (9 night) itinerary of Nepal incorporating a 4 day Royal Tour, for two people sharing.

INCLUDES:
- All arrival and departure transfers involved in the program in non a/c car.
- 3 nights stay at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza Deluxe room on bed and breakfast sharing double room basis.
- 1 full day sight-seeing tours in Kathmandu as specified in the program with English speaking guide in non a/c car.
- 3 nights / 4 days Royal trek inclusive of all meals, trekking equipment, service of sherpa guide, porter, cooks etc.
- 1 night stay at Pokhara Lodge on sharing double room basis with all meals and activities.
- Drive from Pokhara / Chitwan in non a/c car.
- 2 nights stay at Tharu Lodge on sharing double room basis with all meals and jungle activities.
- 1 full day sight-seeing tours in Kathmandu as specified in the program with English speaking guide in non a/c car.
- Domestic airport departure tax for Kathmandu / Pokhara and Meghauly / Kathmandu flight.

- Lunches and dinners in Kathmandu.

- Flights are at an additional cost and are subject change and are at time of publishing:
Mountain Flight: US$ 205 per person.
Kathmandu/Pokhara: US$115 per person.
Bharatpur/Kathmandu: US$105 per person.
- Prices for flights, internal transfers and park fees may change unexpectedly due to foreign exchange fluctuations or government imposed price hikes in Nepal. Auctionair reserves the right to charge extra if this occurs at time of reservation.
- Cancellation fees will be payable if reservations are made and later cancelled.
- Surcharges may be applicable for bookings made during peak periods.
- We strongly recommend that all our customers take out comprehensive insurance prior to taking any travel.

ITINERARY:
DAY 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet assist and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza or Dwarika’s Hotel.
DAY 02: AM: Transfer to airport for Mountain flight.AM: Sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath and Bodhnath.PM: Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur City. Overnight at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza or Dwarika’s Hotel.
DAY 03: Transfer to airport. Fly Kathmandu / Pokhara. Upon arrival, meet and assist by Sherpa guide and start 4 days. Royal trek to Bhumdi. Overnight camping.
DAY 04: Trek to President Camp. Overnight camping.
DAY 05: Trek to Tashi’s Camp. Overnight camping.
DAY 06: End trek at Kare. Drive to Pokhara Lodge. Overnight at Pokhara Lodge.
DAY 07: Drive to Tharu Lodge. Jungle activities and overnight at Tharu Lodge.
DAY 08:Jungle activities and overnight at the Jungle Lodge.
DAY 09: Transfer to airport. Fly Meghauly / Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Remaining day at leisure. Eve: Farewell dinner at Nepalese restaurant with cultural program. Overnight at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza or Dwarika’s Hotel.
DAY 10: Transfer to airport for onward flight.
