Ultra slim and light the latest P-series Ultra Portable VAIO PC has just arrived from Sony.
Available in red, white, green or black, these fabulously slim gadgets come with an extra wide 8-inch screen and in true Sony style, the screen is their X-black LCD with LED technology. The resolution is a fantastic 1600 x 768 - remarkable for such a tiny machine and produces some of the sharpest images seen in the market yet.

The gadget gurus have predicted - 2009 is going to be the Year of the Netbook (or in Sony-speak: ultra-portable PC) and with the P11Z weighing in at just over 0.6 kilos, this portable PC is as portable as they come. Basically, it's the size of a fairly average paperback and is one of the thinnest available. It will even fit in your jacket pocket without detracting from those snake hips of yours.

But the tiny size does not mean that Sony's skimped on the quality. To add to its 'go anywhere' attributes, the VAIO 'everywair' technology is embedded to give you reliable communications all the time via mobile broadband. There's Motion Eye built in for face-to-face communication on the go.

And to make it efficient - you get an Instant-on XrossMediaBar for maximum versatility too - this means you can have more than one window open at the same time. What's more the keyboard has been described as 'outstandingly good' by What Laptop - it's a great size and instead of a touchpad, you get a nift stylus that works a treat.
